The right motor oil for your motorcycle
Not all motor oils are the same. This is especially true for car and motorcycle oil. If you’re not familiar with this, it might be tempting to think that changing your car’s oil is the same as changing your motorcycle’s oil. However, this is not the case.
Using the wrong oil can seriously damage your motorcycle. Although the process may seem the same, the purpose and formulation of the two oils are different.
Motorcycle oil is uniquely formulated to protect engine components and gears. Compared to car engines, motorcycle motor oil requires balanced friction properties because it must lubricate the wet clutch, which in turn transfers engine power to the drivetrain.
The Synmar motorcycle range includes fully synthetic, synthetic and mineral motor oils. These are all high-quality motor oils specially composed to meet the demanding needs of motorcycles. They are fully tested, both in the laboratory and in the field, to help deliver optimal horsepower and acceleration. As a result, Synmar offers an extremely high level of performance and protection for motorcycle engines.
Our four-stroke range, which is highly suitable for motorcycles, consists of the Rex and Max series. Below we tell you more about the REX series.
Synmar REX 4T 10W-40 motor oils are available in two grades, a mineral and a synthetic motor oil, and are specifically developed for the most common four-stroke motorcycles with or without a wet multi-plate clutch. Based on high-quality base oils combined with balanced additives, they offer excellent protection against wear, deposits, sludge and oxidation, while keeping oil thickening and oil consumption to a minimum.
Synmar REX 4T 10W-40 oils also offer excellent protection for the transmission and promote smooth clutch operation, preventing sticking or slipping.
