New building update
Start of new construction in Lichtenvoorde
Synmar starts new warehouse construction at the Lichtenvoorde location
At the end of August, we started the civil engineering works at our Lichtenvoorde site. After more than two years of intensive preparation and cooperation with local entrepreneurs, construction of our new production facility has officially begun. This project is an important step in the growth and further professionalisation of our activities.
The company Dusseldorp is currently demolishing the existing warehouse and removing the underground tanks. This process will take approximately until the end of October/beginning of November, after which the site will be ready for construction of our new production facility. Our neighbour, Eeftink Rensing, will be responsible for the new building, the exterior of which is expected to be completed by the end of April 2025. Eeftink Rensing previously also built our office in Lichtenvoorde. For the electrical and mechanical installations (E+W), we are working together with WSi Techniek, also a local entrepreneur.
What does this mean for us?
With this new building, we are realising a modern warehouse in which we can store and fill various products, such as oil, antifreeze, coolants, AdBlue and Optispray. We are installing storage tanks ranging from 10,000 to 45,000 litres, giving us a total bulk storage capacity of more than 600,000 litres. This allows us to fill both our own Synmar products and Private Label products, in packaging ranging from 1 litre to 1000-litre IBCs.
Relocation of production
During the construction works, production will be temporarily relocated. Antifreeze, coolant, AdBlue and Optispray production will take place at another location in Lichtenvoorde. Filling of oil and lubricants will only take place in Apeldoorn. Our finished product storage will be housed in Eibergen, where we have 500 pallet spaces available. This allows us to maintain continuity and provide the service you are used to from us.
Stay updated
We would like to keep you informed of the progress. That is why we are making a time-lapse video of the works. You can find the first video below, and regular updates will follow via our social media channels.
With this new building, we are preparing for the future and can further optimise our processes to serve our customers even better.
