ADBLUE BY SYNMAR

What is AdBlue?

AdBlue is a high-purity urea solution used in modern diesel vehicles with a Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) exhaust gas aftertreatment system. It is designed to reduce the emission of nitrogen oxides (NOx) released during the engine’s combustion process.

AdBlue is a mixture of demineralised water and a chemical substance called urea. Urea is an organic compound that contains nitrogen and is used as a source of ammonia in the SCR process. It is a colourless liquid with a slight odour. The precise mixture of AdBlue typically consists of 32.5% urea and 67.5% demineralised water. This ratio is crucial for the effective reduction of nitrogen oxides (NOx) in the exhaust gas of diesel engines.

Application

Synmar AdBlue is used to reduce NOx emissions in vehicles equipped with SCR technology. To meet increasingly stringent environmental requirements, Synmar AdBlue can be used in diesel vehicles such as passenger cars, vans, trucks and agricultural vehicles.

Synmar AdBlue is available in various packaging options. From a handy 10 litre container for on the road to a 1000 litre IBC for high-volume use. Our handy 10L package is fitted with an integrated pouring spout, which makes topping up easy.

Topping up AdBlue is just as easy as topping up your ruitenwisservloeistof or controleren of the oil level in a car. Synmar AdBlue is not dangerous, not flammable or explosive. It is a transportable fluid with minimal risk. Should you get AdBlue on your hands, washing with water alone is sufficient.

Benefits

AdBlue, together with SCR technology, helps reduce NOx emissions, which are harmful pollutants that contribute to air pollution and smog. By using AdBlue, diesel vehicles can comply with strict emission standards such as those set by Euro 6 regulations in Europe.
